My coasters are quirky and fun! My best designs come to me when I'm lost in thought. I draw a single shape in the middle of the page, then continue to add patterned rings around the centre shape, each have a different but similar pattern. I draw my whole design in pencil, then finalise my design by outlining it in Staedtler graphics pens. I then scan the design through to my laptop and edit it to create a crisp and clean design in Photoshop. This whole process takes around a day to complete.

Jacqui Dong is a 14 year old artist who started drawing from a young age for fun. Since then, her talent and drawings have developed and become something more. Jacqui just lets her hands become a sewing machine for her brain. In other words, doodle.
